Congratulations to the Thomas K. Spencer Chapter #947!!!!!!

We came home from our first Florida Division Convention, not only with a Charter, but with 3 awards, despite our brief existence.

1.  Chapter organizing with the most new members

2.  Chapter attending convention for the 1st time

3.  Largest number of membership papers on the same ancestor

In addition, Chapter President, Nora Crane, won the Catechism quiz in her age group, coming home with a $10 check!  Way to go, Nora!

Chapter 2nd VP Daniel Davis was named Editor of  "The Dixie Diary" the Florida Division Newsletter!

4 members attended the convention, including Devin and Duane Geary.  They had a super time and made lots of friends.

Congrats to our 3rd VP and Director, Mary Alice Geary on making these hopes a reality.

Please be on the lookout for new members for our chapter.....and make plans to attend next year's C of C convention....a great time will certainly be had by all!
