Compatriots,

With our beloved flag unfurled and blowing gently in the breeze, members of Finley's

Brigade attacked along nearly 5 miles of Gadsden county roadside ditches early yesterday

morning, taking the community and the state road department by surprise. Both mounted

and on foot armed this time with only sticks (pickup) they took more than 600, (yes 600)

pounds of trash off our communities' hiway. In a move to heighten awareness to our

organization Finley's Brigade members adopted a section of hiway on state road 12

starting at the Liberty county line and running east for nearly three miles. The signs are

up and they look beautiful, letting both locals and travelers know there is an active camp

in the area. Anyone wishing or willing to help in the next "attack" please contact either

myself Jim Darby [email protected] ).or Bruce Childress
