was born January 20, 1960 on Johnson Air Force Base, Japan. Dean has a bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Louisiana and a Master's degree in Social Studies Education at University of South Florida. Dean has taught history at Pasco High School for the past 12 years. Dean is married to Ruth and has a wonderful son, Kenneth Hammer, and three wonderful dachshunds. Dean joined the SCV on the merits of his great great grandfather, Pierre Carriere, who served in Miles Legion, Co. H, Louisiana Volunteer Infantry. Pierre was captured at Port Hudson and immediately paroled.

Adjutant Adjutant was born in 1946 in Tampa, Florida and graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1964. Her served in the United States Army form 1968 to 1990 when he returned to Tampa. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Management/

1st Lt. Commander Harry Erhart was born in 1955, graduating from Kenmore West, Senior High school in 1974. He studied Horticulture at Pasco Hernando Community College, and is a self employed business owner in New Port Richey. Harry entered the SCV in 2002 on the merits of his great grandfather, Luke O'Bryan, who served in Co. H, 1st Mississippi Cavalry (Werts Adams Cavalry). Harry was a Charter member of the Early Camp and became active in leadership in 2003 initially on the Memorial Committee, then serving on the Enlistment Committee, handling prospects in Pasco and Hernando Counties. Prior to being elected 1st Lt. Commander, he served as 2nd Lt. Commander and 3rd Lt. Commander. Harry is aware 8 Confederate Ancestors from the States of Alabama and Mississippi. Harry enjoys visiting his ancestor's home places and researching his Confederate ancestors. He's particularly proud of his cousin, Caroline Meriwether Goodlet, who was co-founder of the UDC.

Judge Advocate Judge Advocate 's Southern roots are deep in the Missouri and Arkansas Ozarks. A graduate of the University of Missouri at Rolla, Dr. Crane did his doctorate work at Auburn University where he received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Currently he is a full time university professor of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Crane is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution as well as the Military Order of the Stars & Bars. Judge Advocate Crane joined the SCV in 1989 on the merits of the service of his gg-grandfather Pvt. Richard J. Harber, who served in the 7th Arkansas Infantry in the War for Southern Independence. Dr. Crane previously served as Judge Advocate of the John T. Lesley Camp 1282, SCV.

Quartermaster was born in Florida in 1957 in Pinellas County, Florida.
He served in the US Navy, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing, Distribution and Personnel Management from the University of Florida. Bud is employed by Comanco Environmental in a Service Management level.
Bud loves the South and Southern Culture and had dedicated himself to the preservation of it. Bud joined the Camp after being introduced to the SCV at the Camp's first appearance at the Anclote Raid in 2004. He has dedicated his efforts into furthering the Southern Cause by helping others to realize their ancestry and the role that their ancestor played in the war for Southern Independence.
He entered the SCV on the merits of his great great grandfather John Erwin Williamson, Sr., who served in the 8th Florida Company I. Also has a great great Uncle Cornelius Williamson that served in the 1st Florida Calvary, (dismounted).Bud previously served the camp as 3rd Lt. Commander, likes the role of 'do boy'.

Rev. was born Sept 24, 1945 in Glasgow, W.Va., the only son, along with three sisters, of George and Velma (Elswick) Martin. The Martins are of Scot-Irish origin. And to honor that Calvin is a member of the McDonald Clan. Additionally, the Martins are of Revolutionary War fame (GGGG Grandfather John ); at the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown, Va. ( GGG Grandfather Job ). They were some of the first settlers in Western Virginia (W. Va.) , trapping beaver with Daniel Boone. Loyal to their state of Virginia they joined Thurmonds Partisan Rangers during the War Between the States (G Grandfather Nathan and his brother, John); fought in the Spanish American War; fought the Germans in WWI and II and then Calvin did his part with the US Air Force ('64 - '68) during the Viet Nam Conflict. Calvin graduated form Nazarene Bible College in 1979 with an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies and Trevecca Nazarene University in 1991 with a BS Degree in Management of Human Resources. Calvin is an accomplished trumpeter (All-State Band '62 - '64, W.Va.), US Air Force Drum & Bugle Corps '65. Calvin was also an all-star athlete (baseball and basketball). Calvin has been an elder in the Church of the Nazarene since '84 having pastored churches in AL, TX, WV, TN, and FL, now serving as Associate Pastor and Minister of Music at Forest Hills Church of the Nazarene. No longer in full-time ministry, Calvin is a top producing Agent with National Health Insurance Agencies, Inc (NHIA, Inc.), a contracted general agency of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida. Calvin is married to Sharon K. (Lovejoy) '68, with two wonderful children, Calvin II (' 74 ) and Rebecca (' 81 ), one grand daughter, Savannah (' 96) by Calvin II and Heather (Lawrence, Irish-American, of course). Calvin joined the Sons of Confederate Veterans in 1981 while in TX. Calvin is now the Florida Division Chaplain, having been appointed to that post in April, 2002. Calvin previously served as Chaplain of the John T. Lesley Camp 1282 SCV. Calvin loves leading in the singing of Dixie and gets teary-eyed when he sees our flag flying in the breeze.
