Picture of Arboretum. The Order of Confederate Rose Florida Society was founded  in 2002 at the Battle of Olustee re-enactment by Mrs. Lynda O'Neal , it has now grown to 25 Chapters and over 300 members.

We are an independent support group to the SONS OF CONFEDERATE VETERANS FLORIDA DIVISION. We are nonprofit, nonracial, nonpolitical and nonsectarian. And as such ancestry is not required for membership. We assist the SCV with their historical, educational, benevolent and  social functions. Special emphasis is placed on the preservation of  Confederate symbols. As there are few rules and restrictions to  stifle the creativity of its members, each chapter is free to focus  on the activities important to its members and local SCV Camps along  with supporting their efforts on the state and national levels.

Florida Society is a vibrant and active Society statewide, with Chapters participating in events nearly year round.  Roses, Thorns and Rosebuds all over the state are visible in parades, festivals, re-enactments, and dedications as well as living histories.
